Some Linux operating systems do not automatically accept the certificate for eduroam. CIT does not officially support end-user Linux devices, but we can supply some general guidance. A Linux user can try any of the following options if the onboarding tool is not successful:

• Download the eduroam certificate through CIT's website. You must have Cornell credentials to authenticate.

• Use the self-service instructions for connecting to eduroam in Ubuntu. When prompted to enter your username you will use your [email protected], for example [email protected]. Your password is your NetID password.

• Research your specific Linux operating system to determine the steps to manually install the certificate. Each Linux variant has its own procedure.
